The position involves providing clear, accurate and timely financial updates to the School Board, P&C and Finance Committee on a termly basis. This includes communicating the school's financial position through the use of one-line budgets and other reporting tools to support transparency and informed decision-making across governance structures.
Beyond financial management, the role may involve active participation in committees and working groups to ensure alignment with school priorities and broader regional targets. This includes participating in the school's Cultural Committee to embed culturally responsive perspectives within school operations and decision-making.
Desirable attributes include a strong working knowledge of Compass, event management and financial systems. A key component of this position is working in the front office as the face of the school. Exceptional organizational skills, adaptability and the ability to respond flexibly to changing priorities are highly regarded. The capacity to build and maintain effective relationships with staff, students and parents is crucial to ensure a welcoming, professional and responsive school environment.
