Head of Strata (Owners Corporation) Department | Hawthorn
Working in a large, modern strata company with around 40 staff, based in Hawthorn area, in a rare Head of Strata Department Role with minimal portfolio management.
This role is helping to oversee a team of 10+ Strata Managers / Staff, alongside the General Manager and existing Team Leaders, working alongside / under a General Manager, reporting to them and the Director(s).
Hours
Monday to Friday office hours, with 1-2 days WFH depending on tenure.
Strata Software
Expect to use StrataMaster software and an array of modern technology to support.
Job Duties
* Oversee 10+ strata staff as their manager / go to person, managing the Team Leaders who in turn manage the OCM's (as we understand it)
* Staff reviews, management
* Recruitment / sit in on recruitment interviews, etc
* You may manage your own small portfolio of premium higher density strata properties, typically under 6 buildings and typically only several hundred lots, key clients (portfolio TBC and may be negotiable based on the candidate)

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience managing staff in strata industry, not just \"training\" assistant strata manager(s), but actually managing staff / a team
* Strata management experience on a high density, premium portfolio of several Tier 1 / 100+ lot properties
* Great communication skills & strong English
* Strong admin skills & attention to detail
* Managers of staff from directly related industries to strata management, such as facilities management may be considered, but this is not ideal.
