ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting Defence training pathways? Wodonga TAFE is seeking a dedicated Skills Assessment Administrator to join our Technical Trades Solutions (TTS) team, servicing the Joint Technical Trade Training Services (JTTTS) at HMAS Cerberus reporting to the Education Manager Skills Assessor.
Play a key role in supporting Defence training outcomes. As the Skills Assessment Administrator, you'll be at the heart of assessing and mapping Defence personnel's training against national qualifications. You'll manage assessment schedules, engage directly with Defence staff, and prepare documentation that helps shape career pathways. With access to unique data systems and a fast-paced environment, this role offers variety, purpose, and the chance to make a real impact—every day.
Selected Duties:
* Provide exceptional customer service and respectful engagement with Defence personnel of all ranks.
* Deliver timely and accurate administrative support, including data entry, reporting, and records management.
* Develop and maintain administrative procedures aligned with operational standards.
* Work independently and collaboratively to ensure consistent service delivery and continuous improvement.
ABOUT YOU
Skills & Experience

* Diploma of Business Administration or equivalent experience.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and digital literacy skills (Microsoft Suite).
* Current Australian Driver's Licence (or working towards obtaining).
* Must be an Australian Citizen to be able to gain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
* Desirable Understanding of, training packages, packaging rules, and AQF levels.
* Desirable Previous experience working within the Defence Protected Network (DPN).
