We are searching for heartfelt, empathetic, and dependable individuals who cherish the prospect to make a difference in the lives of our cherished ageing clients, helping them stay independent and dignified in the comfort of their own homes. This is a qualified part-time role that requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per fortnight, and you must have availability of at least three weekdays per week during daytime hours.
This role will see you supporting clients in Cranbourne, Clyde, Berwick, Narre Warren, Frankston, Seaford, Lynbrook, Hallam, Pakenham, Officer, Dandenong, Noble Park, Keysborough and surrounding communities.
Home Care Worker – Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care such as showering, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance
- Performing household tasks to maintain a safe and tidy space, such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and laundry
- Preparing meals and assisting with grocery shopping
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and shared living spaces
- Providing social support and transport to appointments and community activities
- Monitoring client wellbeing and promptly reporting any concerns
- Respecting each client’s preferences, cultural background, and values
Role Requirements
- Cert III Individual Support, Cert IV Ageing Support (or equivalent qualification, including current nursing students)

Mandatory Requirements
- Valid Victorian Drivers Licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Working with Children’s Check (Employee)
- Police Check
- Up-to-date vaccinations in accordance with Uniting AgeWell’s Vaccination Policy
- Full Australian working rights
