At Ronald McDonald House Victoria & Tasmania, we're looking for a People & Culture Coordinator – Talent & Experience to play a key role in attracting great people and strengthening how our teams experience work across the organisation.
This is a hands‐on role focused on delivery — supporting recruitment, driving engagement initiatives and ensuring a consistent, positive employee experience.
Part‐time (0.8 FTE) – permanent role | North Fitzroy | Hybrid working

Ronald McDonald House Victoria & Tasmania supports families with seriously ill children, providing accommodation, programs and support when they need it most.

Your impact
In this role, you'll work closely with the Head of People & Culture and leaders across the organisation to deliver practical, high‐quality people initiatives.
You'll focus on:
* Coordinating recruitment, onboarding and new starter experience
* Delivering engagement initiatives that are relevant and accessible
* Supporting a consistent and positive employee experience across the lifecycle
* Contributing to our employer brand and EVP in market
This role is about making things happen — ensuring our people practices are embedded into day‐to‐day operations, not sitting as standalone programs.
What you'll be doing
Talent Attraction & Recruitment
* Coordinate end‐to‐end recruitment processes from advertising through to onboarding
* Partner with hiring managers to deliver timely and effective hiring outcomes
* Support talent attraction strategies and improve candidate experience
* Contribute to building and promoting our Employer Value Proposition (EVP)
Employee Engagement & Experience
* Deliver a practical engagement calendar aligned to organisational priorities
* Support initiatives that strengthen connection, recognition and team culture
* Gather and interpret employee feedback to inform improvements
* Support leaders with simple, effective engagement practices
Employee Experience & Onboarding
* Coordinate onboarding to ensure new starters are set up for success
* Support compliance and tech onboarding to ensure smooth new starter experience
* Maintain and improve onboarding processes and resources
* Support a consistent experience across key employee lifecycle moments
Payroll Support & Coordination
* Provide support to payroll processes
* Assist with data checks, updates and coordination to support payroll readiness
* Respond to basic payroll queries and escalates where required
Reporting, Systems & Internal Communications
* Maintain accurate data across recruitment and engagement activities
* Contribute content to staff newsletters and internal communications
* Coordinate People & Culture content and communication schedules
Departmental P&C Support
* Act as a key point of contact for routine P&C matters
* Support continuity across the range of P&C functions
Who are you?
You're a proactive and organised People & Culture professional who enjoys working across multiple priorities and delivering outcomes.
You bring:
* Experience in a People & Culture, HR or recruitment coordination role
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
* Confidence working with stakeholders across an organisation
* Clear and professional communication skills
* A practical, solutions‐focused approach
* A genuine interest in employee engagement and workplace culture
* Experience in the Not‐for‐Profit or community sector is valued, but not essential.
