Attract great talent. Build engagement. Deliver a people experience that works in practice.

At Ronald McDonald House Victoria & Tasmania, we're looking for a People & Culture Coordinator – Talent & Experience to play a key role in attracting great people and strengthening how our teams experience work across the organisation.

This is a hands‐on role focused on delivery — supporting recruitment, driving engagement initiatives and ensuring a consistent, positive employee experience.

Part‐time (0.8 FTE) – permanent role | North Fitzroy | Hybrid working

Who are we?

Ronald McDonald House Victoria & Tasmania supports families with seriously ill children, providing accommodation, programs and support when they need it most.

For more than 35 years, we've been keeping families close to their child's care — and that work is only possible because of our people.

You'll focus on:

* Coordinating recruitment, onboarding and new starter experience
* Delivering engagement initiatives that are relevant and accessible
* Supporting a consistent and positive employee experience across the lifecycle
* Contributing to our employer brand and EVP in market

This role is about making things happen — ensuring our people practices are embedded into day‐to‐day operations, not sitting as standalone programs.

What you'll be doing

* Partner with hiring managers to deliver timely and effective hiring outcomes
* Support talent attraction strategies and improve candidate experience
* Contribute to building and promoting our Employer Value Proposition (EVP)

* Support initiatives that strengthen connection, recognition and team culture
* Gather and interpret employee feedback to inform improvements
* Support leaders with simple, effective engagement practices

Employee Experience & Onboarding

* Coordinate onboarding to ensure new starters are set up for success
* Support compliance and tech onboarding to ensure smooth new starter experience
* Maintain and improve onboarding processes and resources
* Support a consistent experience across key employee lifecycle moments

Payroll Support & Coordination

* Provide support to payroll processes
* Assist with data checks, updates and coordination to support payroll readiness
* Respond to basic payroll queries and escalates where required

Reporting, Systems & Internal Communications

* Maintain accurate data across recruitment and engagement activities
* Contribute content to staff newsletters and internal communications
* Coordinate People & Culture content and communication schedules

Departmental P&C Support

* Act as a key point of contact for routine P&C matters
* Support continuity across the range of P&C functions

Who are you?

You're a proactive and organised People & Culture professional who enjoys working across multiple priorities and delivering outcomes.

You bring:

* Experience in a People & Culture, HR or recruitment coordination role
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
* Confidence working with stakeholders across an organisation
* Clear and professional communication skills
* A practical, solutions‐focused approach
* A genuine interest in employee engagement and workplace culture
* Experience in the Not‐for‐Profit or community sector is valued, but not essential.
