Your new companyAn established advanced manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Industrialisation Process Engineer to play a key role in the transition of new products from design through to production and ongoing support. This position sits at the intersection of engineering, production, supply chain and quality, with responsibility for ensuring products are manufacturable, cost-effective and production ready from the earliest stages of development. You will be involved in complex, long term programs delivering technically advanced products within a highly regulated environment. This position is Bendigo based, paying highly attractive daily rates for a long-term contract (12 months +). This role requires Australian Citizenship.Your new roleLead and coordinate industrialisation and production transfer activities across design, prototype, preproduction and full-rate production phases.Ensure manufacturing and support processes are defined, implemented and optimised to meet cost, quality and schedule targetsAct as a work package owner for industrialisation activities, including technical, financial and performance trackingDrive manufacturability and serviceability considerations from early design stages through to production readinessCoordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, production, logistics and suppliersManage readiness reviews and first article inspections to support production launchSupport continuous improvement activities across production lines, processes and methodsEnsure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirementsContribute to cost modelling and support bid and quotation activities when requiredWhat you'll need to succeedExperience in industrial, manufacturing or engineering environmentsPrevious experience within vehicle manufacturing, defence, aerospace or similarly regulated industriesStrong understanding of production and repair processes, industrialisation methodologies and production systemsExperience managing work packages, production readiness and cost control activitiesWorking knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools (e.g. PDCA, Gemba, flow management)Strong stakeholder engagement, coordination and problem-solving skillsRelevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a technically aligned disciplineAustralian citizenshipWhat you'll get in returnWork on technically complex, long‐term programs with real world impactJoin a stable organisation with strong investment in engineering and manufacturing capabilityCompetitive daily rate and a long term contractTraining, upskilling and career progressionWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV toIf this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.
