- Circa $97,480 plus super (Band 6)
- Heart of Preston location, close to public transport

**About the Role**
The Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of a team of administration officers to provide sector-leading business and customer services to the public and the Darebin Statutory Planning unit. More specifically, the Team Leader Planning Services will:

- Build a high-performing team with a strong culture of collaboration and service excellence.
- Ensure the team provides a positive customer experience.
- Contribute to and identify continuous improvement activities. - Play a key role in preparing for the move to Council's new Enterprise Resource Planning system.
- Oversee and be responsible for the achievement of statutory processes and timeframes.

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualification and/or appropriate experience in business, public administration, land use planning or other field relevant to work in a local government office.
- Advantageous:

- Experience in the Victorian planning, building or construction sectors.
- Experience in the local government sector.
- Demonstrated, relevant experience including:

- Staff management and co-ordinating administrative and customer service activities within a busy customer focused department.
- Well-developed skills in administrative practices.
- Well-developed skills to investigate issues and solve problems.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and utilise technological solutions to issues to ensure quality service delivery, and provide on the job technology-based training and support to other staff.
- The ability to extract data from systems for the purpose of preparing reports for other government agencies and internal use.
