The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Implementation Associate (12-month fixed term contract/ secondment) to contribute to the successful adoption of new products by existing clients, as well as managing restructures, closures, complex transitions, and operating models across Operations.
This role requires strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to consult and influence a broad range of stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
The ideal candidate will have experience in transition management and a strategic mindset to drive seamless implementation processes.
Key Responsibilities include:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee the end-to-end delivery and transition of new investments and restructuring activities across operations.
Engage in client discussions, fostering strong relationships to understand and support their needs.
Liaise with custodians, investment managers, and other external stakeholders to ensure seamless and timely completion of client transitions and restructures.
Ensure appropriate governance measures are applied to all implementation activities, maintaining compliance and best practices.
Facilitate information sharing with external stakeholders to mitigate risks associated with asset management during transition periods (e.g., providing data to transition managers and portfolio managers).
Contribute to training, development, and mentorship initiatives to promote collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.

Your Background and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 3–7 years in Financial Services with specific expertise in Fund Accounting, Unit Pricing, Investment Administration, and Custody Operations.
Preferred: At least 1+ years in an Implementation, Transition Management, or Project Management role, demonstrating a proven track record in executing complex initiatives.
Comprehensive understanding of IFM Investors' investment process.
Strong market awareness and industry insights.
Solid business acumen with an understanding of financial metrics and key performance drivers.
In-depth financial expertise with a strong analytical mindset.
Knowledge of taxation laws, regulations, and governance requirements relevant to IFM Investors.
