Finance Officer – Disability, Youth & Community Services
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 yearly
We're seeking a skilled and proactive Finance Officer to oversee core financial operations for Enabling Pathways, a service-focused organisation delivering essential care and support programs across Far North Queensland.
You'll be employed by our Enabling Pathways team—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial transparency across a broad and rewarding scope.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end payroll processing and bank reconciliations
* Generate and follow up on client invoices and overdue accounts
* Prepare detailed quotes and budgets for Youth (Child Safety) programs
* Maintain and update SharePoint registers (Assets, Vehicles, Insurance, etc.)
* Monitor and respond to accounts@ and payroll@ inboxes
* Support audit preparation, financial reporting, and compliance tracking
* Collaborate with internal teams to improve budget visibility and financial workflows
You'll Bring
* Experience in a finance, payroll, or accounts support role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
* Systems confidence (Excel, accounting software, SharePoint or similar)
* Effective time management and communication skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Requirements
* Qualifications in Finance, Accounting at minimum level of Certificate III or higher
* Minimum 1 year relevant work experience (at least 20 hours per week)
* Experience using Employment Hero Payroll and Xero
* Valid QLD Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Police Check (within 6 months)
* Open Driver's Licence
