Our well known insurance client is seeking a hands‐on Senior Development Manager to lead their technology strategy and deliver modern, cloud‐native solutions across the enterprise.
This role combines strategic influence with active engineering leadership, and you'll shape direction, write production‐grade code, and drive technical excellence end‐to‐end.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and direct an established development team
* Own and deliver the technical roadmap for key Platforms.
* Lead platform modernisation and cloud migration
* Design and build scalable, secure, cloud‐native systems
* Champion AI/ML integration and generative AI tools
* Communicate technical strategy clearly to senior stakeholders.
About You
* Strong hands‐on expertise in enterprise architecture
* Cloud-native expertise, ideally Azure
* Proficiency in at least 2 Java, Python, Node.js, Go, .NET
* Deep knowledge of microservices and API design.
* Experience with observability tools
* AI/ML capabilities
* Skills across Spring Boot, Express.js, FastAPI, ASP.NET Core
* Strong SQL Server and PostgreSQL knowledge
