The Role:
The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice:
o Works in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and other senior staff, to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
o Assists the NUM with the planning and management of staff and resources and provides operational leadership through the coordination of the day to day patient care activities, including patient flow.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term, part time, day worker position, working 24 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible until 30 August 2025.
Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Classification:
Salary $106,570 - $112,440 per annum (pro rata) + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging
o Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
o Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
o Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements)
o Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements)
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
o Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualifications
Under particular circumstances employees may be required to undertake a new conviction check.
