Job Summary:
The Cash Handling Specialist is responsible for managing customer transactions with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial dealings. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Main Responsibilities:
* Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
* Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
* Perform data entry to complete reporting requirements
* Maintain currency and coin requirements, adhering to regulations and provisions
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
* Verify customer identities to reduce fraud and risk of loss
* Stay up-to-date on basic cash handling functions and procedures
* Support the company's overall mission, standards, and confidentiality guidelines
* Back-up Drive-Thru Service: ensure transactions are completed quickly and efficiently, minimizing traffic delays
* Maintain strict confidentiality and security of cash under supervision
* Foster cross-selling opportunities for products and services
* Provide excellent customer service through phone calls and other interactions
* Perform other duties as required by management
Requirements:

* A satisfactory credit and criminal background check
Skills and Physical Demands:
This position requires:
* Proficiency in basic computer operations, typing, and counting large sums of money
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and organization skills
In terms of physical demands, you should be able to:
* Regularly talk and hear
* Stand or sit for extended periods, with some walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
* Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
* Have specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
