My Midwives' Birthing in Our Community (BiOC) team, a unique continuity-of-care model delivered in partnership with Institute of Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH), supporting First Nations women and families through culturally safe, relationship-based maternity care is seeking a passionate and committed Endorsed Midwife to join our team in a flexible job share arrangement, designed to support work–life balance and meet the needs of the right applicant.

What You'll Be Doing
As an Endorsed caseload midwife in our BiOC team, you will:
Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care for hospital births for First Nations Women and families
Work across clinic (Strathpine and Caboolture), community and hospital settings
Hold a low annual caseload (24 women per year)
Collaborate closely with hospital teams wider multidisciplinary teams
Participate in clinical reviews and audits
Be supported to work to your full scope with admitting rights at Metro North Hospitals (RBWH, Caboolture and Redcliffe)
What We're Looking For
Current AHPRA registration as a Midwife
Endorsed Midwife
Minimum 3 years full-time equivalent midwifery experience
Recent experience across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
Commitment to woman-centred practice
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
Continuity of care or MGP experience
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
Understanding of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services
IBCLC or lactation specialities
