About the Role This is a unique opportunity for a strategic and hands-on digital content leader to shape exceptional digital experiences that help Australians navigate their health with confidence. You’ll lead a small team of passionate content designers and specialists, driving best practice in UX writing, content strategy, accessibility, and design thinking. Reporting to the Content Program Lead, you’ll guide the digital content strategy across web and app platforms, leading delivery on both strategic initiatives and BAU activity. You’ll champion data-driven content decisions, support experimentation and continuous improvement, and ensure content is always aligned with our brand voice, digital vision, and member needs. Key Responsibilities Own and evolve the digital content strategy, ensuring seamless experiences across digital platforms. Lead, coach and empower a high-performing content team to deliver clear, inclusive, human-centred content. Review and refine content for quality, clarity, accessibility, and brand consistency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, digital, product, and IT. Manage digital content workflows, optimisation, and governance, from creation through to retirement. Drive experimentation and test content variants to improve performance and engagement. Own the digital content budget and lead resource planning, forecasting, and prioritisation. What You'll Bring 7–10 years of experience in digital content, UX writing, content design or content strategy. A strong portfolio showcasing digital product content and your ability to lead complex content initiatives. Proven leadership skills, with experience coaching teams and elevating content practice. Ability to work across agile and traditional delivery environments. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills – you bring people on the journey. Experience with CMS platforms (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager), analytics tools, and Figma. A passion for plain English, accessibility, and inclusive design. Desirable Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, or financial services. Alignment with the values and mission of the not-for-profit or for-purpose sectors.
