Funeral and Transfers Assistant - Casual. Hall funerals is currently seeking a professional, reliable and caring individual to join our team on a casual basis.
Role overview: As a Transfer / Funeral Assistant, you will work as part of a team and be responsible for the respectful and timely transfer of deceased persons from place of death to our funeral home. You may also assist with funeral services, viewings and other duties as required.
Responsibilities
- On Call roster (approximately 1 out of 4 weeks)
- Assist with setting up funeral services
- Provide respectful and compassionate support to grieving families
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained and presented to a high standard
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with health and safety procedures
- Work as part of a close team and ensure all services are carried out with care and professionalism
- Full training will be provided
Requirements
- Professional appearance and compassionate demeanour
- Physically fit and able to lift and move deceased with care and respect
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts
- Full, clean Victorian issued drivers license
