About the Job
This Allied Health Assistant traineeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain a recognised qualification, namely a Certificate III in Hospital or Health Services Pharmacy Support while getting hands-on experience.
Under the supervision of hospital pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, you will assist the team with clinical and non-clinical tasks.
Tasks may include patient one-to-one sessions, general dispensing and distribution duties, setting up equipment, and maintaining treatment areas, among other tasks.
The hospital pharmacy team will provide you with dedicated support and time to complete your Certificate III in Hospital or Health Services Pharmacy Support.
You will have unique learning opportunities to explore developing your pharmacy technician career path within Hunter New England Health.
This traineeship is ideal for recent school leavers looking to gain a valuable qualification in a health-related field.

Requirements
Need to have completed year 10 at a minimum, but completion of Year 12 is highly valued.
Applicants need to have finished school within the last 12 months.
