This is a high-level position in our organization, overseeing various projects across the consulting practice. The Manager will provide expert guidance and support to the consulting team, helping them with sales activities such as orals, estimations, and Statements of Work (SOWs). This person will also work closely with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, and leads to identify business needs, staff projects, and ensure the work-life balance of consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight responsibility for projects across the practice.
* Assist Engagement Managers and team members in identifying project needs, reducing risk, and developing solutions and strategies.
Sales Support:
* Support the RFP response and pursuit process for consulting work.
Team Leadership:
* Recruit, develop, and manage a diverse remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications.
* Drive team and individual performance to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.
* Establish credibility with clients and within the organization, building consensus and achieving goals through influence.
People Development:
* Mentor and coach team members.
* Analyze team skills and provide cross-training to maintain their ability to staff projects appropriately.
Performance Management:
* Establish direct reports' goals and objectives during regular review processes.
* Direct the collection of performance feedback from customers and engagement/project managers on a quarterly basis.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of Workday (or other ERP) consulting implementation experience.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Proven experience leading virtual teams.
* Fast learner, detail-oriented, decisive, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
* Ability to work well within and across teams to achieve results.
* Possess sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects.
