Embrace Education Greater Dandenong – Keysborough VIC
We assist high school students with completing their homework and improving their literacy, numeracy, exam preparation and study skills. We help students develop life skills as well as academic skills. We encourage our tutors to see themselves as mentors, helping students gain greater confidence in their studies.
The majority of the students that we support have refugee, recent migrant and/or low socioeconomic backgrounds.
A minimum of 2–3 hours per week for at least 6 months is required. It is key that tutors attend regularly to build relationships with students.
