Overview
Activity and Lifestyle Coordinator - Part Time role at Ryman Healthcare. This position supports the coordination of our village lifestyle program in a care center environment. It is a part time role working Friday, Saturday and Sunday 09:30–16:30.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, facilitate and run activities within our village
- Ensure the activities calendar meets requirements around physical, mental and social activities
- Curate and develop flyers/communications around monthly events
- Promote happiness, wellbeing, and quality of life for all residents
- Work closely with the broader activities team to ensure events run smoothly
- Run resident bingo
- Assist in delivering workshops, social and craft activities (e.g., bake-offs, fashion shows, floristry demonstrations)
- Accompany residents on various outings
Qualifications
- Strong empathy
- Outstanding communication skills
- A creative flair
- Certificate III/IV in Leisure & Lifestyle is desired (but not essential for the right candidate)
- Experience in aged care is a plus but not essential
