The Job
Building local HR strategies that align with departmental goals to ensure delivery of successful outcomes.
Partnering with the leadership team and internal stakeholders on employee cost-management initiatives.
Providing hands-on HR operational support and coaching.
Driving engagement initiatives to ensure strong, positive employee relations.
Supporting site managers, interpreting awards/EBAs, administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems.
Training and supporting managers on performance management and disciplinary procedures.
Conducting induction programs with new starters.
The Person
Previous HR experience in a warehousing or distribution environment.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Awards and EBAs.
Exposure working in a large, fast-paced environment.
A qualification in HR or a similar field would be highly advantageous.
