Who are we? 
The Adelaide Hub is the Bureau of Meteorology's premier technical operations centre. 
Situated on Kaurna land, it was bestowed the title; Tipu Trruku (Spark Centre). 
Staff based at the Adelaide Hub travel far and wide utilising 4WD's, plane's, boats and helicopter's to maintain service delivery within the various instrumentation networks. This includes: 
Doppler Rain Radars 
Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) 
Upper-Air monitoring systems (Sounding Balloons) 
Tide/Sea Level gauges 
Wave height buoys 
Flood warning / rainfall monitoring systems 
Communications, telemetry and instrumentation systems
