Warehouse Professionals Wanted
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the full scope of warehouse operational activities including receiving and sorting, put-away and picking, packing, dispatch, inventory counting, and other administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Shift Supervisor by understanding daily priorities and ensuring the team is aligned.
* Coordinate team members to achieve output requirements.
* Lead inventory management, ensuring accuracy and compliance documentation.
* Store and pack goods according to procedures and regulations.
* Prepare and receive appropriate documentation.
* Allocate and retrieve goods as directed.
* Perform basic computer operations to complete administrative tasks.
* Conduct stock checks as directed.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and working environment, including equipment.
* Report all incidents relevant to duties and uphold warehouse standards.
* Maintain proactive safety practices and mentor junior operators.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience as a warehouse operator and/or in inventory/dispatch.
* Ability to coordinate work in a team with limited supervision.
* Understanding of inventory control and stock management.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Effective communication with internal and external contacts.
* Positive demeanour and willingness to cooperate.
* Basic computer skills.
* Knowledge of heavy machinery parts is advantageous.
* Basic mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills.
* Good physical health and strength for manual handling.

Work Schedule & Location:
Roster: Monday-Friday, 6 am – 2 pm.
Location: Wacol Distribution Centre.
