Mouve Asset Management is an award-winning, growing property management agency seeking an experienced Trust Account & Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis.

This is a critical compliance-focused role requiring strong, independent real estate trust accounting experience, alongside broader bookkeeping capability for company accounts.

This is not a junior processing role. We are seeking someone confident, structured and experienced in managing trust risk within a real estate environment.

About the Role

Working closely with the Directors and Property Management team, your responsibilities will include:

Real Estate Trust Accounting (Essential Experience Required)

* Daily trust account reconciliation
* Independent completion of monthly trust balancing
* Owner and tenant ledger management
* Receipting and disbursements
* Suspense account investigation and clearing
* Preparation for annual trust audit
* Ensuring compliance with WA trust accounting regulations
* Maintaining clean, audit-ready records at all times

General Business Bookkeeping

* Accounts payable and receivable
* Operational bank reconciliations
* Invoice processing and creditor management
* Payroll
* BAS preparation support (in conjunction with external accountant)
* Assisting with financial reporting and cashflow tracking

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in real estate trust accounting (essential)
* Demonstrated experience independently completing end-of-month trust reconciliations
* Experience preparing for or working alongside trust auditors
* Strong understanding of WA trust compliance requirements
* Solid bookkeeping experience across business accounts
* Experience using property management software
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
* High integrity and confidentiality
* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
* A formal accounting qualification is not required; however, proven real estate trust capability is essential.
