The Role
As Centre Director, you will lead a committed team and create a culture where children, educators and families thrive. Your leadership will drive high-quality educational practice, continuous improvement and strong community engagement, while ensuring the service aligns with approved learning frameworks, National Quality Standards and organisational values.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the daily operations of the centre
* Build a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement
* Support high-quality curriculum delivery and compliance
* Lead, mentor and inspire educators
* Place children and community at the centre of practice
* Foster strong family and team relationships
* Act as Nominated Supervisor of the service
* Create innovative solutions and maintain a positive team culture
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), Diploma or ACECQA approved equivalent
* Valid Ochre Card or ability to obtain one
* 2–3 years previous experience as a Centre Director
* Strong leadership capability
* Passion for children's learning, development and wellbeing
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Flexible, approachable and collaborative mindset
* Strong commitment to inclusion and child advocacy
