About The Role

You will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). It is one of the nation's most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.

The Investigational Drugs Unit Pharmacist (Grade 1 or 2) provides pharmacist support to ensure safe and effective operation of the Investigational Drugs Unit (Clinical Trials Pharmacy).

Positions Available

* 1x Permanent Full Time
* 1x Temporary Full Time up to June 2026


Ideal Candidate

* Current Pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and able to practice independently. Grade 2 Pharmacists must meet the criteria set out in the Award and are expected to be able to demonstrate continual ability to meet three of the five competencies within the Award.
* Ability to apply current and good practical therapeutic knowledge in a clinical environment and ongoing commitment to the professional development relevant to areas of practice.
* Highly developed understanding of the priorities and requirements of hospital pharmacy.
* Knowledge of the requirements and regulations surrounding clinical trials and alternate access programs.
* Previous experience in clinical trials is preferred, but it is not a requirement.
