Overview
Join Macquarie's Group Treasury team, where we play a pivotal role in delivering high quality Group Treasury reporting insights that support regulatory obligations. Our Financial Management Platform and Transformation Data & Platforms function sits at the intersection of Treasury, Risk, Data and Technology, and is central to Macquarie's multi‐year transformation of regulatory reporting, data governance, and platform capability.
Role Responsibilities
In this senior leadership role, you will be accountable for end‐to‐end liquidity and capital regulatory reporting data, as well as business ownership of supporting platforms, ensuring accurate, timely, and audit‐ready outcomes aligned with regulatory expectations. You will translate the Financial Management platform strategy into a Treasury‐aligned roadmap, embedding data standards, architecture principles, and governance frameworks.
You will lead the design, uplift, and operation of regulatory reporting platforms and data capabilities, driving improvements in data quality, lineage, and processes while reducing manual effort and enhancing resilience. Acting as the key interface with Technology, you will ensure business requirements shape platform delivery and proactively address data, control, and platform risks.
In addition, you will drive ongoing transformation through continuous improvement and the adoption of AI solutions, while contributing to broader platform and data strategy. You will lead a multidisciplinary team across data, platforms, and operations, fostering a high‐performing culture with strong accountability and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications and Experience
* Demonstrated experience leading liquidity / capital regulatory reporting data, platforms and control environments within a large, regulated financial institution. Deep understanding of reporting frameworks and associated data and reporting requirements.
* Deep experience in operating platforms with defined business and service ownership and performance management, and adherence to architecture and operational standards.
* Capability in designing and embedding data governance frameworks, including data standards, quality management, lineage and control design.
* Experience in embedding risk and control frameworks with strong risk, control and audit mindset, managing regulatory requirements, and delivering audit‐defensible data and reporting outcomes.
* Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and auditors.
* Experience in managing platform performance, capacity and total cost of ownership.
* Proven record of simplifying processes, reducing manual effort and decommissioning legacy platforms through structured improvement practices.
* Experience in identifying and implementing analytics and AI use cases to improve regulatory reporting outcomes.
* Experience in leading geographically dispersed and multidisciplinary teams with data, engineering and transformation capabilities with clear accountability for delivery, operational performance, and transformation.
