About the Role
This role is responsible for carrying out high-quality carpentry work on residential and/or commercial projects. The role involves on-site installation of aluminium windows and doors, ensuring all work meets Australian Standards, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities (and is not limited to)
* Carry out general carpentry work, including measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
* Install, remove, repair, and replace aluminium windows and doors, including associated frames and fixtures.
* Inspect existing frameworks, structures, and fixtures, and carry out replacements or repairs; when required.
* Perform general maintenance works in accordance with client quotations, specifications, and requirements
* Read and interpret plans, drawings, and job specifications accurately
* Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, building regulations, and quality requirements
* Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team to meet timelines
* Apply strong safety practices, attention to detail, and effective time management across all tasks
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required
* 3–5 years' experience installing aluminium windows and doors.
* Carpentry background or trade qualification.
* White Card and valid Driver's License to be able to travel to various client locations.
