Coastal Engineer Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Coastal Engineer to assist in the planning and design of urban waterfront, coastal management, and coastal structures projects. This will include marinas, marine terminals, and living shorelines.
* Assist in planning and design of urban waterfront, coastal management, and coastal structures projects, including marinas, marine terminals, and living shorelines.
* Analyze various data sets, including coastal data, survey data, geotechnical investigations, and engineering drawings to support project work.
* Undertake calculations or modeling of coastal processes and sediment transport to support engineering or environmental assessments.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field such as civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering.
* At least 2 years of experience as a Coastal Engineer.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and/or GIS software, including QGIS or ArcGIS.
Working Conditions: Prolonged periods of sedentary work with occasional travel.
