About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Power Apps Developer to join Effectus Digital Pty Limited, a leading technology company based in Brisbane, Queensland. As a Power Apps Developer, you will play a key role in developing custom business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, helping to drive digital transformation and improve productivity for our clients. This is a full-time position based in our modern Brisbane office.
What you'll be doing
1. Design, develop and deploy custom Power Apps solutions to meet client business requirements
2. Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 services to create end-to-end solutions
3. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers and subject matter experts to understand requirements and define application specifications
4. Implement responsive, intuitive and user-friendly interfaces using the Power Apps canvas and model-driven app builders
5. Automate business processes using Power Automate (Flow) and enhance applications with custom business logic
6. Implement secure role-based access and data management within Power Apps
7. Provide post-deployment support, maintenance and enhancements to existing Power Apps solutions
What we're looking for
1. 3+ years of hands-on experience developing custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps
2. Proficient in designing data models, building forms, views, and reports using Power Apps
3. Solid understanding of Power Automate (Microsoft Flow) and experience in automating business processes
4. Familiarity with integrating Power Apps with other Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure, etc.
5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
6. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
7. Experience working in an Agile development environment is highly desirable
8. Advanced DAX modelling skills required to develop complex analytics solutions using Power BI
9. Portfolio examples must demonstrate the ability to develop complex analytics solutions using Power BI
