The Opportunity
As a motivated Principal Structural Engineer, you will contribute to various major infrastructure projects, industrial and commercial developments. You will provide technical guidance in structural materials for our junior team members.
* Provide technical guidance and become a focal point for the structural team in Hobart.
* Apply engineering fundamentals to solve intermediate to advanced engineering solutions.
* Liaise with clients and design technicians to deliver practical solutions.
* Manage clients, prepare fee proposals and tender documentations.
* Guide junior members of the team through mentoring and checking technical documentation.
Requirements
* 15+ years of experience in structural design.
* Deep understanding of structural engineering design and Engineers Australia Chartered Professional Engineering Status or equivalent.
* Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering or higher degree.
* Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mentality.
* Ability to contribute to the technical guidance of junior members through mentoring.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
