We pride ourselves on assisting individuals, from a range of diverse cultural backgrounds, to live and participate in their community as they choose. Our services are provided at sites across greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains.

About The Role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, as a dedicated and agile Site Manager, you will manage and lead the day-to-day operations in two 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes in Western Sydney. With your strong coaching and mentoring skills, you will support a team of Disability Support Workers to develop and implement best practice.

Facing different challenges every day this role presents the opportunity to work with vulnerable people with complex and challenging behaviour. It will allow you the opportunity to make a real difference in the life of our residents and support a dedicated team who want to see them succeed.

The role includes:

* Coordination of the care and services to the people we support in each SIL home.
* Coordination of SIL home resources, including shared spaces, assets and vehicle.
* Reading and implementing complex support plans.
* Report and manage restrictive practices, potential risks and incidents.
* Striving to achieve the goals set by the people we support and ensuring they have a say in their services and have choice and control in their own home.
* Ensuring all documentation is current and relevant plans are in place.
* Managing key stakeholder relationships.
* On call support (shared roster approx. 2 to 3 times a year).

About you

As a motivated, resilient, and empathetic leader you want to support your team in providing services to, people with a disability, who have complex needs. You are adaptable, transparent, trustworthy and passionate.

Commercially savvy, you understand the need to balance quality service provision with the delivery of serviceable hours and the ratios that are contracted by the person we support.

You enjoy a challenge and are not afraid of change and working through complex situations and managing crisis. You are striving for continuous improvement and delivering high quality services. You are a great communicator and invest in developing great stakeholder relationships.

Criteria and Experience:

* Complex, challenging behaviour, sector experience, at a management level, is essential.
* Strong working knowledge of challenging and complex behaviours, restrictive practices and NDIS legislative requirements.
* Ability to mentor and develop staff performance.
* A proactive and solution-focused approach to working with challenging clients.
* Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
* Understanding of self-care, boundaries and limit setting.
* Relevant qualification equivalent to a Diploma or above.

Successful applicants will require a current NSW Drivers Licence and First Aid certificate. An offer will be subject to a police clearance, a pre-employment medical, 100 points of ID and a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
