Make a difference in the lives of individuals and families who require mental health support as a highly skilled and compassionate Clinician.


About the Role

We have opportunities for Clinicians to work with our Federal Government client in their 24/7 Contact Centre. Our client provides individual, couples, and family counselling to enhance mental health wellbeing and resilience.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Triage and coordinate intakes and referrals of clients to regions for allocation to services, including individuals, couples, families, and complex cases via various referral pathways.
2. Provide high-quality clinical services, including assessment and referral, evidence-based individual, couple, and family counselling, and case management to achieve identified outcomes in care planning processes.
3. Utilize specialised counselling intervention tools and models dependent on client needs, ensuring work is carried out to a high standard of professionalism, efficiency, and effectiveness.
4. Ensure risk assessment and safety planning is completed during intake calls, with appropriate follow-up action taken.
5. Apply quality assurance principles and procedures to ensure clinical practice, reporting, and invoicing activities meet contractual requirements.
6. Participate in ongoing learning and development activities and maintain professional status.


Requirements

1. Qualifications as a registered Psychologist / Mental Health Occupational Therapist / Mental Health Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration or
2. Qualification as a Social Worker eligible for membership of the AASW and eligibility for Mental Health accreditation.
3. A Masters level Counselling qualification and registration with PACFA as a Registered Clinical Counsellor or with ACA at Level 3 or 4.
4. Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance must be obtained prior to commencement.
5. Flexibility to work within a 24/7 roster.
6. An Australian Citizen and willing to undertake a National Police Clearance.


What We Offer

1. A 12-month contract + possible extension.
2. $55 - $65 p/h + penalties + super.
3. Ongoing training and development.
4. Hybrid model.
