**What you will do**:
Our Service Advisor's are key members of the Dealership and are responsible for organising service work schedules. Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Managing and scheduling repair bookings for customers
- Handling service related queries from customers
- Creating job cards and assisting with customer invoicing and purchase orders
- Updating customers and rebooking appointments for follow up or repairs
- Ensuring Technicians have completed repair order information by checking stories, parts, kilometres etc.
- Confirming customers or drivers have signed repair orders to authorise repairs
- Ensuring vehicles are road tested and acceptable in presentation to present back to customers
- Using your expertise to advise and provide guidance to Technicians and Apprentices regarding customers vehicle concerns
- Working a rotating Saturday roster to provide additional support to customers.
**Your future team**:
Reporting through the Customer Service Supervisor to the Workshop Manager, you will work in a small team of Service Advisors and Costing Clerk's. The greater workshop team of roughly 35 is made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Trades Assistants and Apprentices. The team at VCV Brisbane North pride themselves on running a quality operation, in a supportive and good-humoured team environment.
**Who are you?**:
We believe that a good mix of both technical knowledge and soft skills will see you succeed in this role, so ideally you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Automotive industry experience (truck and bus experience would be an advantage)
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Sound computer skills including the Microsoft Office programs
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive working style
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Availability to work a rotating Saturday
