About the role
By providing administrative, sales and customer service support, your passion for providing a great customer experience will empower our Account Managers to focus on what they do best.
During a typical week, you will:
* Prepare and issue customer quotes, sample requests and product information.
* Manage incoming phone and email enquiries; triaging technical questions to Sales Specialists where required.
* Conduct outgoing phone calls to confirm quotes, pro formas and sample requests received also to qualify cash sale enquiries
* Set up customers and process sales orders, backorders and credit requests in Netsuite, our ERP system.
* Maintain accurate product, pricing and customer data.
* Support sales reporting by monitoring enquiry volumes and quote conversion.
* Coordinate despatch instructions, lead times and logistics communication.
* Assist with sales reports, dashboards and pipeline administration to support Account Managers with their approach lists
* Support marketing with samples, promotional materials and trade event preparation.
This is a full time role 8am-4pm, however we offer some family friendly flexibility with start and finish times if required and would consider 4 days per week for the right person.
About You
You will be an energetic professional who can relate to people from all walks of life. You are as confident with customers as you are building relationships with the warehouse team and you take pride in your commercial acumen.
You are looking for a permanent, varied role in a down to earth environment with good support structures in place.
To be successful, you'll have:
* 3+ years in customer service, sales support or internal sales.
* A 'can do' team attitude and mature outlook
* Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or technical B2B companies
* A confident phone manner
* Experience with CRM and/or ERP systems preferred (we use NetSuite)
* Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel.
It goes without saying that you pride yourself on your eye for detail and understand the importance of being a great brand ambassador at all times. A sense of humour will also set you in good stead, as we enjoy a laugh in the office
