Overview Serco is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Support and ILS Officer to join our Defence Business Unit in Sydney.
This role plays a vital part in supporting the sustainment of capability for the Mini-Typhoon, Typhoon, and Toplite (MTTT) contract.
You'll be coordinating logistics and inventory activities, managing asset data within Defence ERP systems, and assisting with procurement, ILS documentation, and reporting requirements.
Working closely with contract management, engineering teams, and Commonwealth stakeholders, you'll help ensure the accuracy and reliability of logistics data that supports operational success.
Responsibilities Managing inventory, asset data, and configuration records across Defence ERP systems (MILIS, IFS, SAP) Supporting procurement, spares forecasting, and sustainment planning activities Contributing to the delivery of ILS documentation, reporting, and audits Liaising with Defence and OEM representatives on logistics matters when required Assisting with contract administration and transactional finance tasks (purchase orders, receipting) Travelling occasionally to support stocktakes, asset validation, or project delivery activities Qualifications Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, ILS, or equivalent Defence/industry experience Hands-on experience with Defence ERP systems such as MILIS, IFS, or SAP Strong understanding of logistics and procurement processes in a technical or regulated environment Ability to interpret, maintain, and update logistics and sustainment documentation accurately Experience working in a Defence, Defence Industry, or supply support environment Australian Citizenship with eligibility for AGSVA Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance Benefits Flexible working arrangements Opportunities for career progression and development Employee assistance program for wellbeing support Inclusive workplace culture that celebrates diversity Access to internal training and learning pathways Work with Defence on meaningful projects that make an impact About Serco / Diversity & Inclusion Serco is a place where you can grow.
