TEST ANALYST – DATA & REPORTING
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join a Data Analytics & Reporting team. You will validate the quality and integrity of data across analytics, reporting, and operational systems, including end-to-end testing across ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform end-to-end data testing across ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers
* Conduct SQL‐based validation on Oracle and Snowflake datasets
* Validate layered data architectures (raw, curated, modelled)
* Verify Power BI and Tableau dashboards and reports for accuracy and business rule alignment
* Design, execute, and document test cases using ISTQB‐aligned techniques
* Validate ETL/ELT transformations and system‐to‐system data mappings
* Support regression testing of pipelines and reports following changes or upgrades
* Maintain test evidence, defect logs, and data validation documentation
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* 3+ years' SQL experience across Oracle and Snowflake
* 3+ years' Power BI experience including DAX validation
* 2+ years' data testing or QA experience
* 2+ years' ETL/ELT testing experience
* ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)
* Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
* Tableau experience (1–3 years)
* Jira, Git, and CI/CD experience
* AWS or cloud data platform exposure
* Advanced ISTQB certifications (CTAL‐TTA or CTAL‐TA)
