Humero are currently seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation on an initial 3-month contract, with a robust likelihood of transitioning to a permanent position. Based on Brisbane's Southside, this role offers a supportive and collaborative environment, along with hybrid working flexibility.
About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll provide key financial support to business partners through accurate management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You'll play an active role in analysing performance, preparing reports, and contributing insights that drive decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
Provide analysis and commentary to support business performance and decision-making.
Assist with month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and journals.
Maintain the integrity of financial information and documentation for audit purposes.
Support process improvements and contribute to system and reporting enhancements.
About You
Degree qualified in Accounting or Business.
Working towards or near completion of CA/CPA qualification.
Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting or management reporting roles.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with exceptional attention to detail.
Initial 3-month contract with a solid likelihood of permanency.
Brisbane Southside location with hybrid working flexibility.
