We are seeking a Home Care Worker to provide in-home support services and personal care to our elderly clients in the North Coast area of the Sunshine Coast.
Key Responsibilities:
* General household cleaning and bed making
* Cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming floors
* Washing, folding, and ironing laundry
* Preparing meals and grocery shopping
* Providing personal care services such as assisting clients with daily living activities
* Assisting with medication management
* Supporting clients with mobility and therapy goals
* Offering social and emotional support
* Transporting clients to appointments or activities
* Enabling family carers to take a break or pursue other activities
Requirements:
* A valid Australian driver's license and a roadworthy vehicle
* Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
* At least 6 months of experience in a similar role involving personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medication assistance
