About the Role

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving client and revenue growth for Avant Practice Solutions by generating, qualifying and nurturing sales opportunities via outbound call initiatives. This role focuses on building opportunity by engaging with prospects and scheduling them into consultations with the sales team to further discuss products and services within Avant Practice Solutions. This role is responsible for engaging with leads from conferences, cold calling practices through self generated leads, and existing Avant member leads. The SDR function focuses on identifying opportunities for expansion whilst ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key Accountabilities for the role include:

* Partner with BDMs, Practice Concierge and other internal teams to deliver a seamless transition from lead qualification to sales engagement.
* Proactively engage outbound leads to assess and maximise opportunity for Avant Practice Solutions services.
* Maintain a high level of working knowledge across Avant Practice Solutions full product and service suite to position solutions confidently and accurately in client discussions.
* Conduct structured initial discovery conversations to understand client needs, readiness, and potential opportunities and schedule consultations in for the BDM's action.
* Book high-quality, sales-ready appointments with clear context, notes, and recommended next steps to the BDMs.
* Apply agreed lead prioritisation and routing pathways across multiple products and service lines.
* Maintain accurate lead data, qualification notes, and activity records within the CRM system and across lead lists.
* Meet daily and weekly activity and performance KPIs including call and appointment setting volumes.
* Act as a professional and trusted first point of contact, representing the Avant brand and value proposition.
* Collaborate closely with Concierge and sales teams to continuously improve lead quality and conversion outcomes.

Preferred Capabilities:

* Experience in outbound SDR, telesales, appointment setting or high volume B2B calling
* Experience booking in meetings for sales professionals
* Experience in managing healthcare or medical practice clients is highly desirable.
* Experience in solution-based account management also highly desirable
* Passion for understanding practice needs
* Passion for providing an exceptional customer experience with a drive to exceed customer expectations.
* Strong stakeholder and relationship management ability with excellent communication skills.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously.
* Interest in Software as a Service technologies
* Confident Communicator with varied stakeholders ranging from practice managers to key decision makers
