What's the role?
You'll join our Property Credit team as a Senior Manager Commercial Credit, supporting customers across Australia's property sector. Based in Sydney, this is a permanent full-time role with flexible working arrangements.
In this role, you'll make independent credit decisions on complex property transactions, separate from relationship management. You'll hold delegated credit authority and support higher level approvals where required, always balancing commercial outcomes with strong risk discipline. You'll oversee the credit quality of your portfolio through proactive monitoring and early identification of emerging risks.
You'll also lead a team of five Credit Managers across NSW and ACT, shaping a strong risk culture and supporting performance, capability uplift, and future talent development. You'll work closely with business and risk partners, providing practical guidance on policy application, market insights, and transaction structuring, while keeping senior leaders informed of material risks and significant approvals.
What do I need?
* Significant experience in commercial property credit, including transaction structuring and approval
* Proven background in credit decisioning within banking or financial services, aligned to risk appetite and policy
* Demonstrated people leadership experience, including performance management and capability development
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with sound commercial judgement
* Ability to provide clear risk advice and portfolio insights to senior stakeholders
* Experience operating within banking risk management frameworks and regulatory environments
