Underground Mine Surveyor Job Description

About the Role
1. The Senior Mine Surveyor will be responsible for supervising underground surveying activities, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and safely.
2. The successful candidate will train and mentor team members to enhance organizational capabilities.
3. Data management is crucial; you will process survey data and create plans, reports, and spatial information.
4. You will implement effective systems and standards to deliver services at a low cost.
5. You will prepare official mine plans and reports.
About You
* To succeed in this role, you must have a degree in Surveying and hold a Grade 1 Mine Surveyors Certificate (WA).
* Several years of underground mining experience and leadership experience as a Senior Surveyor are essential.
* Familiarity with Deswik, Leica instruments, and Trimble GPS is necessary.
* You should possess strong practical, planning, and prioritization skills.
* You must be innovative, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
* You should be physically capable of performing manual handling tasks.
* Australian work rights are mandatory.
