About the Role
This position is more than just account management. While maintaining and nurturing existing relationships will be a key part of the role, there is a strong focus on developing new business across the steel roofing sector. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, identify opportunities to expand market share, and represent the business as a trusted partner in the industry. Working closely with internal teams, this role requires someone who can balance relationship management with proactive sales development.
Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts within the steel roofing sector.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact and professional service.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met on time and to specification.
* Provide accurate market feedback and competitor insights to support business growth strategies.
* Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals, and product solutions.
* Achieve sales targets and performance objectives in line with company goals.
* Represent the business at industry events and trade functions as required.
About You
* Proven experience in account management or sales, ideally within building materials, steel, or roofing.
* Strong business development skills with a track record of winning and retaining clients.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Commercially minded with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
* Organised, self‑motivated, and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
* A results‑driven professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, solutions‑focused environment.
Salary and Benefits
Base $100‑$120k | 12% Super | Company Car | Commission
