About the Role
Avant's education programs — spanning eLearning courses, webinars, conferences, print publications and digital content — play a vital role in advancing the safety, quality and professionalism of medical practice across Australia. As Education Specialist, you'll partner with the Education Manager to create and maintain high‐impact education resources for our members and the broader medical community. Your work will directly support the strategic objectives of our Advocacy, Education & Research division.
Key Accountabilities
* Uphold the highest standard of quality across all education programs, with a particular focus on webinars and supporting speakers with content for conferences and events.
* Build and curate a centralised presentation library that equips staff to deliver compelling, consistent presentations.
* Identify and implement progressive approaches to education delivery that keep Avant at the forefront of professional development.
* Cultivate strong internal and external relationships to drive the development, promotion and reach of member education initiatives.
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in a health‐related field.
* Tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in education.
* Proven track record in educational development and delivery.
* Sound understanding of the Australian healthcare system.
* Previous exposure to clinical service provision.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* High‐level stakeholder engagement and relationship‐building skills.
* Robust understanding of educational principles and theory.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft365, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
* Collaborative mindset with genuine drive and determination.
* Experience with webinar and virtual event platforms.
* Ability to define and drive a strategic agenda.
* Highly organised with a pragmatic, solutions‐focused approach.
