The Role
Reporting to the Manager, Engineering Asset Solutions, the Senior Civil Engineer plays a key role in developing long-term asset strategies that balance performance, cost, and community outcomes. You will lead investigations and designs that shape the region's future infrastructure.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Local Government Act and WHS regulations.
* Provide leadership, supervision, and technical guidance to staff and contractors.
* Manage engineering projects, consultants, and design deliverables to meet time, budget, and quality targets.
* Prepare and review design documentation, technical reports, and project specifications.
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and compliance.
About You:
* Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
* Registered Professional Engineers of Queensland (RPEQ) accreditation
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement and communication
* Knowledge of relevant acts, standards, and guidelines
