Are you passionate about automobiles and skilled in diagnosing and repairing vehicles? Mulgrave Motors, a reputable car dealership in Cairns, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide accurate assessments of necessary repairs.
* Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship standards.
* Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve technical issues.
* Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
* Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in automotive technology.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a similar automotive service environment.
* Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles.
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
* Ability to use diagnostic equipment effectively to identify issues.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
* Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
* Ability to supervise apprentices.
* Right to work in Australia.
