Job Title: Senior Systems Integration Specialist

This is a key role within our organization, responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and delivery of complex systems engineering services and products.

Responsibilities:
\

1. Develop systems engineering documentation, system designs, and systems maintenance plans and configuration management plans.
\
2. Deploy hosting platforms in a scalable and sustainable manner.
\
3. Analyse complex systems engineering issues across a range of capability elements and apply expertise to identify and recommend courses of action.
\
4. Undertake stakeholder engagement to identify business needs.
\
5. Document the system designs and implementation processes.
\
6. Resolve issues and/or problems that arise during the course of capability development projects.
\
7. Assist in the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures.
\
8. Provide technical leadership to optimise the performance of IT infrastructure.
\
9. Investigate and manage the adoption of tools, techniques and processes for the management of systems and services.
\
10. Oversee the planning, installation, maintenance and acceptance of new and updated infrastructure components and infrastructure-based services.
\
11. Align to service expectations, security requirements and other quality standards.
\
12. Ensure that operational procedures and documentation are fit for purpose and kept up to date.
\
13. Ensure that operational issues are identified, recorded, monitored and resolved.
\
14. Provide appropriate status and other reports to specialists, users and managers.
\
15. Design large or complex systems and undertake impact analysis on major design options and trade-offs.
\
16. Evaluate and manage the adoption of tools, techniques and processes to create a robust integration framework.
\
17. Take responsibility for installation and/or decommissioning projects.
\
18. Plan and drive activities to develop organisational systems integration and build capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
\
\
20. Bachelor degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field.
\
21. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX-based environments.
\
22. Strong knowledge of programming languages.
\
23. Experience in monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance.
\
24. Familiarity with automation software.
