Job Title: Disability Support Worker

About the role
Nursing Centred Care Australia is seeking a passionate and compassionate Carer to join our team in Mount Barker, SA. As a Carer, you will play a vital role in providing personalised care and support to our elderly and disabled clients, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life. This is a casual position, offering flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
* Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in meaningful activities and social interactions
* Monitoring clients' health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes or concerns to the relevant healthcare professionals
* Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation to ensure the safety and well-being of clients
* Collaborating with the broader care team to develop and implement personalised care plans for each client
What we're looking for:
* A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to elderly and disabled individuals
* Relevant experience in the aged care or disability support sector, or a demonstrated commitment to the industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
* A caring, patient, and empathetic nature, with the ability to adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of each client
* A current First Aid & CPR certificate
* Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability or equivalent qualification
* All mandatory safety and compliance screenings must be completed and current, including the National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and WWCC
* A Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
