About the opportunity
Morgan Consulting has partnered with a well-established fresh food producer to appoint a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager. You will sell products into grocery, wholesale, and food service, build long-term relationships, and grow revenue and market share. Food industry experience is outstanding, not essential, attitude and sales discipline are.

What you will do
- Identify and develop new business with distributors, restaurants, wholesalers, and grocery banners through cold calling, networking, and smart outreach
- Manage and grow existing accounts, deliver excellent service, and increase range and volume
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Understand customer needs and tailor solutions, including cage free and free range
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms
- Track market trends and competitor activity to spot growth opportunities
- Work closely with production and logistics to ensure accurate, on‑time deliveries
- Maintain clean records of calls, visits, pipeline, and forecasts in the CRM
What you bring
- Proven sales success, ideally in food, agriculture, or consumer goods
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skillsComfortable on the road, able to travel locally and regionally for client visits and events
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools, Zoho experience helpful

- Sales volume and revenue growth
- New account acquisition and range expansion
- Customer satisfaction and retention
- Accurate, on‑time reporting and forecasting
