Please note this is a subregional rolesupporting Echuca Regional Health, Cohuna District Hospital, Kyabram District Health Service, and Rochester-Elmore District Health Services. The role will involve travel between the sites.
About the Role:
Are you passionate about empowering others through education and career development? We're seeking a dynamic Workplace Trainer & Career Advisor to coordinate and deliver high-quality training and career advisory services across four regional health services.
This role ensures our regional workforce has access to accredited learning programs, career guidance, and development opportunities that build capability, promote equity, and support long-term workforce sustainability.
Key responsibilities include:
· Design and deliver training programs tailored to workforce needs
· Support assessment activities and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in collaboration with RTOs
· Provide personalised career advice, resume support, and interview coaching
· Contribute to workforce capability planning and training needs analysis
· Liaise with external providers to coordinate course delivery and clinical placements
· Oversee traineeship programs and collaborate with Human Resources teams
· Advise on course funding, study leave, and training access
· Stay current with health workforce trends and best practices
Qualifications/experience required:
· Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or willingness to obtain
· Proven experience in training delivery and/or career advisory services
· Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
· Ability to work autonomously and meet KPIs
· Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel across sites
· Excellent time management and organisational skills
