We are seeking a reliable and organised Store Person to manage the inventory and stock of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing goods, maintaining accurate records of inventory, and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
* Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying the accuracy of the shipment against the purchase order.
* Store goods in the appropriate location, ensuring that they are easily accessible and properly labelled.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts and location information.
* Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring that they are complete and accurate.
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move and store goods.
* Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring that all safety procedures are followed.
* Communicate with other departments to ensure that inventory levels are maintained, and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
* Assist with maintenance and upkeep of the asset register.
* Other supply tasks as required.
About You:
* Experience working as a Store person within a Warehousing environment.
* A working knowledge of warehouse practices
* Able to work well autonomously and within a team and follow directives with a positive 'can do' attitude.
* Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and time management skills
* Sound computer literacy in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems experience.
* Valid Driver's Licence (MR/HR preferred).
* Forklift ticket (HRWL).
* Adhere to and follow all WHS/Safe work Australia regulations and procedures.
